Also known as Three Kings Cake. The King's Cake is roll of delicate danish pastry with cream cheese or cinnamon filling. The King's Cake comes with a 1" plastic baby on the side to commemorate the Three Wise Men's search for the Baby Jesus in Bethlehem (see the gospel of St. Matthew 2:1-12). The three colors of sugar represent the gifts of gold, frankincense, any myrrh given to the Christ Child. Whoever finds the plastic baby in their slice wins the dubious honor of buying the next King's Cake!
